A typical Installation

550 W  Solar Panels

Solar panels are fitted to your roof. All roofs are catered for, with the exception of thatch and asbestos.

The more panels you have, the more power you produce.

The AE 550W Monocrystalline panels that we use for our installations are designed and tested in Germany. They have a 12 year product warranty and linear performance guarantee of 30 years.

DC Combiner Box

A PV combiner box is an electrical distribution box where DC breakers are housed. Its main purpose is to combine multiple DC inputs from the panels in the system into a single DC output. This output is then connected to the inverter,

AC Combiner Box

The AC Combiner Box consists of breakers for inverter input and output power as well as surge protection, a changeover switch and pilot lights. The changeover switch makes it possible to change to grid power if there is an issue with your LimeSolar installation.

Smart Hybrid Inverter

The inverter is the brain of the LimeSolar installation. It manages your consumption, the production from the solar panels, input from the grid and use of the battery.

Battery Switches

Battery fuses / disconnect switches are designed to cut-off electrical power and help protect against electrical fires. They are an integral part of the overall safety of the system.

Lithium Battery

Lithium batteries are used in most domestic backup solutions due to their robustness and ability to charge and discharge thousands of times.

How long your battery(ies) lasts depends on your consumption during a power outage and how big your battery is. your system will be configured in such a way as to conserve battery usage during power outages.

Sunshine & enjoy

Remember Lime Solar will always ensure that your system is working. Subscription is a risk and hassle free way of enjoying all the benefits of solar and batteries at an affordable price.
